The Event

On Sunday, December 21, 1975, Capt Richie was codfishing 15 miles south of Fire Island, like he had done thousands of times before. But that day would not be like any other on the Atlantic Ocean. The Starstream II was swarmed by alien invaders. For years, foreign fishing trawlers had camped along the coastal regions of the United States raping and plundering our fisheries. One of the trawling vessels came close enough to catch the Starstream's anchor in its nets, severing the anchor line and placing the vessel, crew, and passengers in harms way. And for those who have a real lot of time on their hands.... Please also find an 11th grade Social Studies term paper that I wrote (circa 1976) in its original typed pages, all (15) of them, and fully footnoted. The topic of course, extremely relevant to "THE EVENT" as described here within. You know how MOM'S save everything!
