Today, we take for granted what technology offers, especially when it comes to cellphone cameras. A selfie awaits us instantly everywhere we go. Although I have vivid memories of much of what I experienced fishing and working on my Dad's boats, many have faded. If I could travel back in time, I would take a small digital camera with me and leave it on those boats for all to snap away . The pranks and shenanigans we imposed on our customers and each other were priceless. Back in the 60's and 70's we had film cameras that weren't very high quality. My brother Petie had one of those Polaroid instant film cameras. Here are some of those old photos of the crew and fishes we caught. Some grainy, blurry and overexposed and then scanned and digitized- but hey, they are rarities, and gems to those who were there. Mama don't take my Kodachrome away.
