The Department of History of St.Ann’s College for Women has successfully organised a National Webinar on 5 July,2020 on Google Meet for which there have been 163 registrations from different institutions. The webinar was conducted on the topic “Breaking the Myths:Corona;The Right Approach”. The webinar included the talk of two eminent doctors ,Dr.Amarender,MD, Pediatrics, specialization in Pulmonology and Allergic Diseases and Dr Manjula Rao MD, Senior consultant and HOD of obstetrics and Gynecology Department , Durgabai Deshmukh hospital , Vidyanagar,Hyd. With the growing discontent and absurd myths, this webinar aimed at breaking all those myths and helping everyone understand the importance of taking the right precautions in the crisis situation.
An online quiz was conducted on 17-06-2020 by the Department of History of St.Ann's College for Women.A total of 155 individuals have successfully participated in the quiz .The participants who have secured above 50% have received participation certificates.
