Lent is a sacred season of prayer, repentance, and renewal in the life of the Church. For forty days, we journey with Christ through the desert, preparing our hearts to celebrate the mystery of His Passion, Death, and Resurrection. This is a time of honest reflection, spiritual discipline, and quiet transformation as we turn away from sin and open ourselves more fully to God’s grace.
Music plays an essential role in this penitential season. Through ancient chants, solemn hymns, simple refrains, and texts rooted deeply in Scripture, we give voice to our longing for mercy, our thirst for living water, and our hope for new life. The music of Lent often carries a more restrained and reflective character, inviting us into stillness, humility, and deeper prayer.
Below, you’ll find links to each of the Sundays of Lent. At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find resources to support our use of the traditional Latin Chant Mass during this season. We invite you to listen, reflect, and sing with intention at Mass, allowing the music to accompany you through the desert and lead you toward the joy of Easter.
