Self Directed Teams Presentation I recently shared this presentation with the sustainability managers around the State. As you know, several Teams support environmental initiatives in the Township. These include the Energy Team, Wetland Education Team, Green Team, Okemos Earth Club, a new Green Burial Work Group, and others. I'm interested in your thoughts about how they work, don't work, and discussing how we might elevate awareness of this concept... and other opportunities to create the "prime" community we wish to see!

GREEN Events 2023 Schedule (draft) We're in the midst of planning for the first Green Event in collaboration with the Okemos Earth Club Sustainable Fashion Committee in March. Also, we're raising $ to support recycling events and planning the Earth Day event at Chippewa.
Community Sustainability Class Preparations I'm in conversation with Dr. Kim Chung to discuss potential student team projects this spring. If you have ideas, please let me know. Planner Brian Shorkey may also lead a team to follow up on the Bike-friendly community recommendations.
