Local School Collaboration:
Conversation with Bridget Booth. Ms Booth is a Science Teacher in Haslett, on the Board of the MI Alliance for Environmental and Outdoor Education, and a Green Grant recipient. She is interested in expanded environmental education and collaboration with Meridian. She's also envisioning improvements to an outdoor education/natural area near Mud Lake. Booth is attempting to identify contacts at each school building. Recent conference discusses Youth Climate Action Teams and the importance of climate education. Booth may wish to start a team, taskforce, etc related to some projects she's interested in moving forward, such as an outdoor classroom.
Amira Vojic and others from Okemos Earth Club's "Activism" committee is interested in starting a podcast.
