Jong-Ho Bae, Assistant Professor
Prof. Bae earned his B.S. degree in Dept. of EEE from Pohang university of science and technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea, in 2011. He then completed the Integrated M.S./Ph.D Program in Dept. of ECE from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea and received his Ph.D. degree in 2018.
In 2018, he worked on advanced memory/CMOS integration process development at ISRC, Seoul National University as an Engineer. In 2019, he conducted research related to the fabrication of CMOS compatible memory devices, specifically Ferroelectric FET and Negative Capacitance FET using Hafnium oxide, at UC Berkeley in the Dept. of EECS, as a postdoctoral fellow. From Sept. 2020 to Feb. 2025, he was an assistant professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Kookmin University, Seoul, Korea. Since Mar. 2025, he has been working as an assitant professor in the Department of System Semiconductor Engineering, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.
Currently, he and his group members are conducting collaborative research with various research institutes and companies, and pursue practical/industrially applicable/impactful research on overall semiconductor technology.
