Men's Group

The Men's Group was established two years ago in St Bernard's House. The date of the next meeting can always be found in the Parish Newsletter. We meet every three weeks. The meetings begin with the Prayer of the Church, 'The Office', to remind us that all our discussions, stories and reflections are all of them rooted in God's love for each of us. Every week we spend some time listening to recordings made by various gifted speakers on topics that have a particular relevance to the lives of men. This is followed by a discussion on what we have heard and in order to encourage honesty, open-mindedness and courage to bring any personal matter to the discussion, we have agreed that the principal of anonymity within the group is of utmost importance.
