Library Automation :

CLOUD LIBRARY: Library Management System (LIB-MAN) is an extremely combined, user- friendly, and well-suited system for complete Computerization of all the in-house operations. LIBMAN is embedded with multilingual fonts, Barcode & QR code fonts. The College Library is automated with the LIBMAN: Library Management Software provided by Master Soft ERP Solutions. At Present library is fully automated since the year 2019.

 The College library has a separate Reading Room with a 60 to 90 seating capacity. The Library Reading room is open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and the library is open from 10.30 to 5.30 pm on all days excluding the holidays and Sundays. The Library has a rich collection for students including textbooks as per syllabus, reference books, and competitive books for students for ex Net/SELT Examinations, Civil services, MPSC, Banking, Armed forces, Railways etc. For the Purchase of books, Library Advisory Committee is there, which discussed the departmental requirements and purchased the books and reading materials. The college Library is a member of the  INFLIBNET program N-LIST is meant for the research community. The faculty members and students are given a login ID and passwords to access the e-resources provided by N-LIST. Every year library subscribed to print journals, magazines, and books for the students and faculty as per their requirements and the reading interest. OPAC and M-OPAC are available for all borrowers of libraries to access library collections remotely. Library QR code implemented for the   check-in and checkout into the Library Information Center and mark borrowers' attendance/visit in the library to get benefits of readers rooms, reference books and many more facilities available in our library

The library collection is arranged by the Dewey Decimal; classification system as well as the subject wise. The Library has a partially open access system for students, for Post Graduate Students and faculty it is open access.

Computerized Operations:

All the library operations are computerized: Accessioning & Invoicing, Circulation, Serial Control (updating in Library software, is going on of back volumes record of journals subscribed from 2010 to till the date) MIS Reports, Reports, Newspaper, Library Analytics, and OPAC search. Simultaneously library keeps a manual Accession register for books, journals, and magazines also.

  M-OPAC (Mobile -Online Public Access Catalogue):

 is the online public access catalogue which is accessible through mobile. The mobile-optimized online public access catalogue, should provide a simple search facility against, author, the  title of books, and subjects, and the search result should be containing information about the holding of the library and availability of the Same in a concise manner. Through the mobile apps borrowers are able to access networked information that is linked by the app.

• •  M-OPAC for Users:  these users can access the library from anywhere with their smartphones after login into M-OPAC. Now the “Library Visitor’s Management” feature user needs to scan the library QR code which is available at the entrance of the library, in the library reading room,  and at the Book Issue-Return – Counter, as a Digital entry in the Library.

•    M-OPAC for Library staff: This is for Library Administration, for Library staff. Library staff can use this to do all functions on smartphones.
