Designed for university and college graduates seeking a career in the tourism and hospitality sector, this program will focus on applied knowledge in the field of hospitality operations within a global economy, encompassing the planning and management of hospitality businesses of varying sizes and complexities.
The Graduate Certificate in Hospitality Operations is comprised of four subjects, two of which focus on two core subject areas - Ethics, Justice, & Responsible Management in Hospitality and Project Management. The other one introduces the interdisciplinary nature of hotel management through the study of Advance Finance and Budgeting. This subject provides students with an understanding of key financial indicators leading to the profitability of an international hospitality business, and an insight into the factors contributing to the models of consumer behavior that from the service and product expectations of international hotel guests.
This Graduate Certificate is a six-month course embedded within the twelve-month Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Executive. The twelve-month Graduate Diploma is nested within the two-year Master of Science in International Hospitality Management.
