The paintings you see on my website are expressions of the artist Manmeet Kaur. She used to spend her childhood in the tea gardens of Assam sketching her surroundings on whatever surfaces she could reach. Back then, she used coloured chalks. As she grew up, her circumstances made her forget her childhood sketching solace. In her late forties, she started to rekindle her love for colours. Since Assam's humid weather does not allow her oil paintings to dry, she chose her medium to be water colour or acrylic. She paints with her innocence and love for nature.
