Part of Rhene Falls
Lake Zurich
We woke up as the sun went up in the sky, we had bought Swiss Passes which had let us travel in the city for three days. As we crossed the street to get to the bakery I was surrounded by delightful smells. We walked in and saw dazzling cheese cakes, fresh baked bread and the baker removing the chocolate croissants. The choices were endless everything looked so tasty and different than the pastries back in Chicago. We ended up taking two chocolate croissants and key lime cheesecake. We took a bus to the nearest train station boarded some other trains and finally the main train station in the city from there we took a long 45 minute train ride to Rhene falls which is a city famous for its waterfalls, while I sat on the train, mountains and small villages on the outskirts of town passed. I finally enjoyed my chocolate croissant I had eaten some part of it in the train station. After we arrived in the town we walked past flowers blossoming and dainty shops filled with things to look at. When we arrived at the bus stop we saw a small bus appear and saw tourists inside it, when we boarded the small bus we realized it was a self driving car and it went to Rhene Fall. I took a look inside the vehicle it was white with black seats, large windows and monitor with an Xbox to tell the car where to go.
When we got to the park I gasped at beautiful waterfall flowing down it looked so peaceful and magical. We hiked down to some rocks that had a picture perfect view of the waterfall. We enjoyed a delectable meal there and moved on. Me and my uncle walked over to a bridge and looked down there were thousands of fish crowded there I stared down in astonishment. We hiked up back the road and went on path that took us to a castle though we only hiked up 1/4 the way up the castle still looked majestic on the hill where it stood.
We went back to Zurich and walked to Lake Zurich. Like I said before all lakes in Switzerland are clear Lake Zurich is no exception. I stood still testing the water to see how it felt the sun smiled warmly encouraging me to swim. I wadded in the shallow bay until I mustered enough courage to swim a little in the lake though it was hard fighting against the currents the water felt inviting. After the swim all four of us walked along the lake and fed the birds that gathered there. Then we headed to an irish pub and ate our dinner there as the sun set. My aunt had a brownie with ice cream my mom had a milk coffee with a biscuit and both me and my uncle had pasta. To finish our day we boarded a train to take us to a hill that overlooked Zurich. While we were up there we stared at the constellations and the stunning view of Zurich lit in the sky.
