Alaska

Hi guys I just returned from Alaska it's a really cool place I really liked it especially the view here is all the things I did and they are great places to visit.

Basic Alaskan things

Waterfalls

We saw three Waterfalls all of them were nice but my favorite is the waterfall by the highway.

1. This waterfall was beside the road so we stopped over to look at it there was a trail leading up to the mountains it where the waterfall started. We just went up a little way and turned back around.

2. Waterfall number 2 was also up the road. but instead of having rocks it went straight down both of of the waterfalls went under the road and flowed into the lake.

3. Waterfall number 3 has a lot to tell. If you ever see or go to Thunderbird falls this is what it's called there is a 1 mile walk that overlooks the river running below then there is a trail that takes you down to the stream.

Mountains all sides

Mountains are one of the most famous things in Alaska. They are beautiful we saw them from all sides South, North and east and you might be wondering where's west is the ocean so we didn't go there. These sides are pretty and unique you see each side is different, the South is filled with mountains and pretty lakes and waterfalls. The North is flat and filled with trees. And east is valleys. Each side is pretty and unique.

Must see Places

Anchorage, Alaska

We were staying in Anchorage, Alaska so we got to see their museum which I think is SUPER COOL by the way. It's Called the Anchorage museum if you want to see their website click here. My favorite part of the museum besides the art gallery is the discovery kids lab Bubble section!! There is a machine that if you pull on it a bubble will form around you.

Exit Glacier

This is like the coolest thing in Alaska you get to see a real glacier. "Now. the Glacier is like the coolest thing so let me tell you a little about the Exit Glacier. There is about a 1 mile walk to the Glacier but it really shows you inside the south side mountains. Some things to be warned about is there are bears in the woods so they have a chart of what you should do if you ever came across one so 1 out of 20 people get attacked by one. Besides that it's perfect. One of the things that I love about it is as the Exit Glacier is melting you get to see where it was in that year. If you want more information click here.

Food

Snow City

The Snow City cafe is a delicious place to eat it's recommend to call them and register so you won't have to wait in line. The Snow City cafe is famous for their crab omelette in their breakfast menu and they serve very large portions. Anyway we took the crab omelette which is snow crab, swiss cheese, green onion, avocado and we also order the tundra scramble which is reindeer sausage, green pepper, mushroom, red onion, cheddar. We also ate deadliest catch which is a sampling of our kodiak benedict and ship creek benedict. And as the side dish we ordered hash browns. Also from the kids menu we ordered french toast for my brother. But I think my favorites are deadliest catch, tundra scramble, crab omelette they're all delicious. Yum!!!
