On 16 January 2021 (Saturday), the Ad-Hoc Services branch executed their first ever physical event amidst the pandemic. Our members joined us in this event to distribute food to the seniors living in rental flats, and they had a great time befriending them! Check out their reflections here!
On 6 February 2021 (Saturday), several members joined us to facilitate an online Bingo session organised by Tanjong Katong Secondary School, where our members were on-site to physically guide the seniors along. This was a first for many of our members and everyone was excited to play along as they looked forward to completing their bingo card first, so as to redeem prizes such as a gift bag and handmade Chinese lanterns.
After the Bingo session, members helped pack the Chinese New Year goodie bags consisting of various essentials such as mask, biscuits and instant coffee and cereal. During the door-to-door distribution, our members befriended the seniors and checked on their well-being. It was a memorable day for both the seniors and our members!
The ShareAPassion event was a project that started off after Mission X (a leadership development program) was concluded, that involved one of our main committee member. The event was very successful and as such, SP WSC decided to introduce this event to the club.
On 20 January 2021 (Thursday), we introduce the youths from Trybe new hobbies or interests they can pick up. In this event, we first had ice breaking sessions to get to know them better and afterwards came our main highlight - “Building Your Own Terrarium”. The youths were highly engaged when we did a live demonstration for them.
Overall, this event was engaging and we could tell the youths enjoyed themselves, even though this was a virtual event. We hope to bring back more of such events to engage our club members in the future!
During the Circuit Breaker period from April to June 2020, a few of our Main Committee members volunteered to help consolidate information regarding local Food & Beverages shops so that families can easily access these information! For our contributions, our members were featured on their appreciation page.
Back in April 2020, when the outbreak of the dormitories occurred, SP WSC decided to collaborate with Project Chulia Street (PCS) to bring across a video containing messages from our members! On 28 April 2020, PCS uploaded our video onto their Facebook page. We hope that through this video, we can cheer up the migrant workers who are facing an uncertain situation.
On 8 June 2020 (Monday), SP WSC hosted our Welcome Party to welcome our freshies! Members were sorted into their own Regular Service breakout groups, to interact with their Coordinators. Games were also played and 2 winners walked away with MacDonald's Vouchers for winning our Bingo!

On 10 October 2020 (Saturday), SP WSC held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Zoom where our founders, club officer, ex-committee members were in attendance! This year's AGM is slightly different, as it is held online but nevertheless we gave our best to make it as interactive as possible.
The theme was Halloween with Among Us characters infused in it. Members were encouraged to dress up. There were several icebreaking games played with our members and some got to walk away with various prizes, such as by winning our Kahoot! quizzes, Lucky Draw or being the Best Dressed.
We look forward to bringing SP WSC to greater heights!
