MEET THE COLLEGE COUNSELING TEAM!

Hi Pirates!! I'm Rina Young, College Counselor

I have been working at SPHS for over 15 years as a School Counselor and have gained college counseling experience by sharing some of the College Counseling duties the last few years. I am now the full time College Counselor for SPHS and am also enrolled in UCLA College Counseling Program. I am excited to help all students with college preparation, trade school, applications, and financial aid. I am here to help students prepare and educate them for life after high school.

College and Career Office Hours

Flagship: Mr. Eddie Valderamos ( B and G) Monday-Friday 11am-2pm

Young : Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30-3:30pm

Olguin: Ms. Shelsy Carmona (B and G) Monday-Friday 11am-2pm

Young: Monday and Wednesday 9am-3:30pm

*Open at lunch and nutrition for students to walk in and get help with applications and FAFSA.
