Community Colleges
Why Community College? Check out some reasons below!
Paying for college is big consideration. However, many local colleges are adopting free community college programs.
Attending a community college can be a good way for students to ease into the world of higher education and learn at their own pace.
Federal student loans require students to be enrolled half time – about six credit hours, or two courses.
60 percent of community college students are part-time so that they can work as well. This is good if you want a good work-life balance.
Community colleges have associate degree programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Two-year schools have agreements with public colleges to allow students to transfer their credits toward earning a bachelor's.
