The Ascend group is proposing that they will build a 22 story tower on the corner of East Broadway and Clinton, and a 33 story tower on the east side of the Bialystoker.

• Below are two views of the proposed project 'as-of-right' (meaning without air rights) on the left and Ascend's proposed "with air rights" (on the right).
  • Although Ascend has stated its 'as-of-right' plan will be two buildings, the co-op's own architect, David West, stated at the 1/22/2018 shareholder meeting stated "I will note that the two building option for this site in my mind and in my experience is probably not quite as compelling as the 1-building scenario; I'm not clear why one would choose to build this rather than the single-building scenario." (See the video at 20:30; Later in the same meeting, he explicitly said that the two-building option is "not feasible,"
