Communication is an incredibly necessary part of the Universal Union's functioning. A breakdown in communication will lead to a complete and utter failure in 

the mission at hand. The goal is to maintain security and pacificity in the City, without communication our abilities to ensure such are compromised and we'd struggle to

achieve our goals.

Terminology in the Universal Union refers to the terms and argot used by day-to-day patrolling.

Administer - To issue a judiciary verdict; to issue a punishment.

Amputate - Kill/Prosecute/Execute.

Anti-Citizen - Individual found to be in violation of multiple anti-civil ordinances.

Assemble - To regroup with other Combine units.

Breach - To force entry into an area.

Clamp - Restrict access to a certain area.

Contact - Hostile spotted.

Contact Confirmed - Hostile contact confirmed.

Contain - Clamp off entrances to an area. 

Cycle - 3 re-education rounds.

Deploy - To navigate and patrol a certain area. 

Diagnose - Situation report in the affected area. 

Dissident - Malcompliance with intent of rebellion. 

Expose - To cause to be visible or open to view.

Expose Flush - Rush an area to expose the enemy from cover.

Extract - Withdraw subjects out of one area and take them to another area.

Hold - Maintain a defensive position.

Inject - Move into a specified area.

Inquire - Investigate and report.

Inoculate - To protect someone from a threat.

Intercede - Take immediate control of the situation.

Isolate - To disband any large groups of citizens (Large groups referring to groups of 4 or more people).

Unrest - Rebellion or riot in process.

Malignant - Anti-Citizen is an instigator for others to commit anti-civil acts.

Necrotic - Zombie.

Pacify - To ensure obedience by an individual.

Re-education - One swing of the stunstick.

Ripcord - Fall back to a position.

R.O.E. - Rules of Engagement, at which point lethal force is authorised.

Round - One re-education hit.

Sociocide - Attempted disruption to the socio-status of the city.

Socio-fracture - Instability or general malcompliance from citizens. 

Socio-status - The overall stability of the City.

Stand By - Await incoming communications.

Sterilize - Clear an area from the presence of a subject; amputate.

Code 1 - Response is discretionary.

Code 2 - Response is required, prioritize issue if not dedicated to another task. 

Code 3 - Emergency response, ignore all other tasks and respond.

Code 4 - No further assistance required.

Code 7 - Nexus emergency.

ADW - Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

BOL - Be On the Lookout.

UTL - Unable To Locate.

UPI - Unidentified Person of Interest, usually followed by a description. 

HVT - High Value Target.
