Maintaining a safe distance from the VIP is crucial, given the potential harm from RPG blast damage and other hazardous features.

VIP is an important figure, and no civilian may enter the proximity of the VIP unless authorized.
The red civilian entered the proximity of the VIP and must be amputated without a warning. (Civilians must also be amputated if they push the SPEAR units protecting the VIP.)
