UNCG is located in the rich higher education environment of the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. Because of this, we take full advantage of the variety of institutions that are available and offer positions at many schools.
Below are the positions available for SPARK 2026 (constantly being updated) as well as the GA Ranking Form. If you submit your preferences and then want to make any changes, simply resubmit the form again with your new preferences, as we will use the most recent form submitted if you have multiple submissions, to make your interview schedule.
However, the School of Education/Higher Education program cannot, at this point, guarantee that tuition waivers/scholarships will be able to be provided. While we have always operated under this guideline, we have, in the past, been able to support students with tuition waivers/scholarships (along with our GA partners). SAAHE is given a limited number of waivers each year that must cover both rising 2nd-year students and incoming new 1st-year students. We provide this in transparency so that you are fully aware of the situation as it currently stands. We are monitoring budgets and working with our department chair, the Dean of the School of Education, and the Dean of the Graduate School to make sure we exhaust all the resources we can to be able to provide tuition assistance.
Please note: Some of the GA descriptions will say that the office is not offering tuition waivers/scholarships. The School of Education and the Higher Education program will work to try to provide tuition waivers/scholarships (in-state and out-of-state) for students who are offered GA positions and who accept those positions and enroll in SAAHE for those positions where tuition waivers/scholarships are not offered.
