2026 Film Workshop with Mrs. Ammann
2026 Film Workshop with Mrs. Ammann
This virtual workshop is available to students entering grades 6-10 ONLY. We will be working with the program WeVideo to which every HCPSS student already has an account. Students who do not attend an HCPSS school will need access to some kind of film software such as CapCut or Canva. Students entering grades 11-12 have the opportunity to take Video Production as part of their class schedule during the school year.
Do you have a child interested in learning more about filmmaking? Does your child want to see if life behind the curtain is for them or does your child simply want to learn more to enhance short films they already design? Students do not need to have any background knowledge in film, only a desire to learn! We will explore shot types, camera angles & movements, equipment types, and various types of film styles. Students will leave with all of the basic knowledge to create their own short films with very little equipment.
Registrants will receive detailed information regarding log-in information and a reminder of dates/times for their chosen sessions the week prior to each session. Make sure to add sparksignitedllc@gmail.com to your contacts so that the message does not go to your junk mail.
Workshop Curriculum
With the guidance and coaching of a highly-qualified high school teacher, students will engage in online learning that focuses on the following:
