Q: My child is traveling over the summer, so I can only sign them up for one session. Is that okay?

A: Yes, each week is designed as a stand-alone week where students will read awesome literature, engage in discourse with their peers, and grow in their writing through creative and analytical writing prompts. So, if all they can do is come for one week, then we welcome them!

Q: I want to sign my child up for all of the sessions, but will the lessons repeat each week?

A: Our lessons are unique week after week with the hope that students will sign up for the entire five-week class. Stories and writing prompts will not repeat which provides a rich experience for the students. Spanish sessions will repeat twice. 

Q: My child struggles in English class. Are these online summer sessions the correct format for them?

A: Everyone is welcome in this online class, however, given the nature of the group learning atmosphere, if your child struggles and needs more individual attention, we would recommend contacting us to arrange individual tutoring.  Email us at sparksignitedllc@gmail.com to learn more.

Q: My child struggles in Spanish class. Are these online summer sessions the correct format for them?

A: Everyone is welcome in this online class, especially since it is a review of the previous school year. Students should be prepared to work independently, to participate in writing, reading, speaking, & listening to the target language, and to memorize the necessary vocabulary & verb conjugations in order to build a proper language foundation. We will move through the review material quickly! 

Q: I registered my child. What's next?

A: Registrants will receive detailed information regarding log-in information and reminder of dates/times the week prior to your chosen session.  So, make sure you check your email (and junk email!) often as your session(s) get closer.

All materials used in tutoring sessions have been created for and by Sparks Ignited employees and are therefore proprietary to the company. 

Sparks Ignited, LLC collects basic information necessary for virtual registration and tutoring. Sparks Ignited, LLC does not give or sell any family or student data to other organizations. All information is kept only for the duration of the annual summer session. Detailed billing and financial information is accepted through the Square platform and is never seen by any employee of Sparks Ignited, LLC. Please see Square's privacy policy for more details.
