2026 ELA Summer Sessions with Mr. Ammann
Parents, are you looking for a way to keep your child intellectually stimulated over the summer? Do you have a rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader? Are you fearful of summer slide, the phenomenon where student’s skills become stagnant or content knowledge is lost from the school year?
Students, would you like the opportunity to explore interesting stories, work on creative writing, and sharpen your writing skills all from the comfort of your home? And the best part: you don’t have to wake up early to participate 😀
Then, online ELA Summer Sessions may be the perfect thing for you!
Registrants will receive detailed information regarding log-in information and a reminder of dates/times for their chosen sessions the week prior to each session. Make sure to add sparksignitedllc@gmail.com to your contacts so that the message does not go to your junk mail.

With the guidance and coaching of a highly qualified middle school teacher, students will engage in online learning that focuses on the following:
collaboration and discussions with peers
creative writing
grammar practice
reading and analyzing age-appropriate short stories
identifying figurative language and its role within literature
analyzing literary themes
and more...
Our curriculum is focused on collaboration, creativity, and fun! Our goal is to build upon already established skills to create a challenging learning environment that help your child meet with success and keep their mind sharp over the long summer days! With two teachers in every class, students can participate in whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction.
Every week is different with new lessons, so students can have an enriching experience throughout the summer! But by signing up for multiple sessions, students can continue to build on crucial skills week after week.

***NOTE: Please notice that all sessions run Tuesday through Thursday to allow for summer travel. Families can pay following registration through the Square link with Google Pay/credit card or mail a personal check. Mailing address for personal checks will be provided following registration.
***Summer Special: If you sign-up for all five sessions , there is a $200 discount available upon checkout. Where many tutors charge $70-$80 an hour for tutoring services, you can see where summer sessions are a great deal. The price of sessions will increase after December 31, 2025 and again on March 1, 2026. You will save if you register early!
Cancellation Policy: Any parent that writes to Sparks Ignited, LLC with the intention of canceling all or part of their sessions on or before June 1st, 2026, will receive a 50% refund. Any parent who cancels after June 1st, 2026 may choose to switch to a different session for that same summer or forfeit their refund. Partial sessions are not available, and illness, travel, failure to attend, or technology issues are not considerations for refunds.
