Hola, I’m Carola. I’m originally from Peru, and I’ve always loved words — how they sound, how they feel, and how they connect people. I taught myself English, Spanish, and German grammar from scratch, which means I truly understand what it feels like to be a student: to struggle, to grow, and to find your own way.
My background is not academic or linguistic — it’s personal, lived, and practical. I’ve taught people aged 12 to 85, and every class teaches me something new too. We never stop learning!
Outside of teaching, I’m deeply passionate about cultures, spiritual knowledge, and healing through love and acceptance. I believe in turning every experience into part of my better self.
Art, Latin dance, and music are a big part of my life. I need to sing and dance every day — they balance my energy and nourish my soul. I also love connecting with others through meaningful conversations.
I believe in learning with joy, patience, and a lot of heart.
I was born in Lima, Peru, and even as a little girl, I was curious about how people communicate. I taught myself English, Spanish, and German with no formal training — just books, passion, and lots of questions.
There were moments of confusion and frustration, but also moments of magic. And through it all, I found my own way of learning — a way that I now share with my students every day.
“Teaching is not what I do. It’s who I am.”
With more than 25 years of teaching experience, I’ve learned that the most powerful tool in learning is human connection. That’s why I focus on creating safe, supportive, and inspiring classes — always adapted to each student.
I don’t call myself a linguist. I’m not perfect. But I am deeply dedicated. I’ve taken everything I learned through my own journey and turned it into a method that works: clear explanations, respectful guidance, and learning materials I create myself, always with heart.
My classes are personalised, flexible, and focused on you — your pace, your interests, your rhythm. I see every student as unique, and I teach with kindness, honesty, and a big smile.
“I don’t just teach languages — I help you connect with people, cultures, and yourself.”
I love nature, books, and simple moments.
I teach online and in-person in Bli Bli, Queensland, Australia.
I believe in going slow when needed, and cheering loudly for every step forward.
I adore grammar — not because it’s perfect, but because it helps us say what we truly mean.
Below are a few photos from my teaching journey — from my early language adventures to where I am now, alongside so many wonderful students. Each picture reflects the beauty of our shared cultures, ages, and languages.
I hope they help you feel the heart behind what I do.
