All of the assignments count towards your final grade. Please note that the grade Canvas displays by default is only based on the assignments/quizzes/exams you turned in and does NOT include the ones you missed, so you might have the wrong grade if you do not look carefully. Once the assignments/quizzes/exams that you missed are graded to 0, you will see your overall grade percentage drop. So it is very important that you complete ALL the assignments/quizzes/exams. Once the last test is graded at the end of the semester, the percentage you see will then be converted to the college's grade policy on pluses and minuses based on the percentage below:
94% to 100% = A 70% to 73.9% = C (This is the grade you need to pass any class at Chaffey College)
90% to 93.9% = A- THERE IS NOT A "C-" GRADE AT CHAFFEY COLLEGE
86% to 89.9% = B+ 62% to 69.9%= D+
82% to 85.9% = B 58% to 61.9% = D
78% to 81.9% = B- 54% to 57.9% = D-
74% to 77.9% = C+ 53.9% or less = F
