Circus Shapes is FILLED with tons of shapes for students to find. There are circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles. All different animals from the circus build different shapes. Students will be able to recognize shapes and shape names.

This Greedy Triangle is not happy with the shape he is. He goes through a shapeshifter adding more sides to his body. This is more advanced with the shape names such as pentagon and hexagon. Students will learn more shapes and shape names.

The three mice want to get away from the cat, but they get slowed down as they run into a pile of shapes. With these shapes they make all sorts of things. Their way to get the cat away is by making a large mouse with the shapes. Students will learn that different shapes can make larger shapes or other animals/objects.

This book of shapes are discovered through the world through a latina background. Shapes are everywhere between the foods, games, and other activities from her culture. Students will be able to look around their own home and discover all the shapes that are around.

At home, you can draw out shapes that you want your student to build with Legos. Lego manipulatives are perfect to use as they are familiar to students and how they are used.

In this activity, any kind of tray can be used to fill with colorful sand. Students can trace with their finger or use sand tools to draw out shapes on a flashcard.

In this activity, students can use toothpicks to connect balls of play dough. Students will make 2D shapes. If they need more of a challenge, they can try to make 3D shapes.

In this activity, students can use shape sponges dipped in paint to create new objects or picture using the shapes. This is a fun activity to incorporate art and learning patterns.

Using single or multiple shapes, students can create shape collages. If your student struggles with a certain shape they can create that shape collage. This activity is a good way to incorporate art and practice using scissors to cut shapes.
