Critical imagination is about seeing what is there, what is not there, and what could be there instead. In act of critical imagination, use the following questions to target revisions for your remix project.
See what is there. (Answer the following questions about project 2.)
Who/what was your audience and rhetorical goal.
What claims did you make, what evidence did you use to support those claims?
What rhetorical strategies did you use?
See what is not there. (Answer the following questions about project 2.)
What strategies did you not use?
what was missing from the paper?
See what could be there instead. (These are possible alterations you could make for project 2 remix.)
Look back at questions 1-3. Is there anything that could change? How would you change it? If you made those changes, how would those changes work on your audience?
Look at your answers to questions 4 and 5. Can you use any of those strategies instead of (or in tandem with) the strategies you did use?
