“Humanity faces many threats, but none is greater than climate change. In damaging our climate, we are becoming the architects of our own destruction. We have the knowledge, the tools, and the money (to solve the crisis).”-Prince Charles, U.K.

Think about how the weather has changed since you were a child. Has the weather gradually turned warmer? Colder? Perhaps you notice more snowfall or hotter summer temperatures. These are all caused directly by climate change and global warming. The climatic changes are having various impacts on the ecosystem and ecology. The project is a collaboration work by Ranvijay and Akshan, focusing on climate change and the role of various international organizations to protect animals effected due to a change in climate.

Amazon Alexa is a virtual voice AI assistant. There are specific abilities that the assistant is capable of doing. In the case of Amazon Alexa, Skills can be developed using the Alexa Skills Kit. My project is to make an Alexa Skill that's capable of reading out the school food menu. This will include cases for both breakfast and lunch. It will fetch the menu data from a json containing the menu and then read it out. The voice interaction model for this particular Skill mainly involves working with data on the json.

REHAT BAZRAL

GRADE- 10 Gir

In the past two years, each and every one of us has had to overcome failures, and so many of us have. We have done a lot of things that seemed implausible at the start of 2020, and yet, we found a vaccine, the cases lowered and we managed to control the situation. We knew about covid, researched it, and found a solution. It is easy to defeat an enemy when you know what it is. This is why the issue of climate change is still unresolved. What can be done? Despite knowing so much about it, we give solutions like ‘not drinking from plastic straws’ and ‘switching to plastic bags’ when this point arises. We can do that, but that is not all that can be done. It’s time we start switching from fossil fuels and carbon, to alternative energy resources. Not only are renewable forms of energy waste-free and nontoxic, but they also decrease carbon emissions. I am going to present my research and ideas on this topic, and debate the pros and cons of shifting from conventional fuels to alternative energy resources.
