Shepherd of the Hills Community School organised an educational excursion for learners from KG to Basic 6 to provide a meaningful learning experience beyond the classroom. The trip offered practical exposure to technology, wildlife, culture, and geography.
The excursion included visits to the Zipline Medical Drone Service at Walewale, the Paga Crocodile Pond, and the Ghana-Burkina Faso Border. At each stop, pupils had the opportunity to observe, ask questions, and connect classroom learning with real-world environments.
The trip was supervised by experienced staff, and all necessary safety measures were observed throughout the journey. The excursion was both educational and memorable, and it contributed significantly to pupil confidence, curiosity, and general awareness.

The school management has embarked on the construction of a new 1 unit 3-classroom block with ancillary facilities to respond to growing infrastructure needs and support quality teaching and learning.
The project reflects the school’s commitment to creating a more conducive learning environment for its pupils. As construction progresses, the school welcomes the support of individuals and organisations who believe in investing in the future of children through education.
This development initiative forms part of the school’s broader vision to improve classrooms, strengthen infrastructure, and preserve a quality educational legacy for future generations.
