Overview
Shepherd of the Hills Community School delivers formal basic education from Nursery to Basic 6 using the Ghana Education Service approved curriculum. Our teaching approach combines structured classroom instruction with learner participation, continuous assessment, and practical understanding.
We aim to build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, communication, inquiry, values, and personal discipline. In every class, pupils are encouraged to think, participate, and grow with confidence.
Academic Structure
School Hours
Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM to 2:00PM (Optional Extra Classes from 2:15pm to 3:30 PM).
Nursery: Nursery 1 and 2
Kindergarten: KG 1 and KG 2
Primary: Basic 1, Basic 2, Basic 3, Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic 6

The Parent-Teacher Association serves as an important bridge between the school and families. Through collaboration, communication, and shared responsibility, the PTA supports pupil welfare, school improvement, and a strong home-school partnership.
