The SOS training facility is looking for experienced ophthalmic surgeons to serve as trainers. The process involves assisting an experienced trainer through a full course to become familiar with the facility and course material. Once confident, you will be assigned to a course as an assistant trainer, and then possibly as a lead trainer thereafter.
Please note that your participation as trainer in the SOS Training programme is voluntary. UCT-CEHI may consider paying for travel and accommodation costs, but no stipend or reimbursement for other expenditure will be provided.
