The Simuler team from Kyonggi University—composed of students Hyungjun Son and Byungwook Ha, supervised by Professor Haejoong Kim—has won the Grand Prize (Society President’s Award) at the 22nd Korean Undergraduate Computer Simulation Competition hosted by the Korean Society for Simulation.

The team achieved outstanding results by developing a semiconductor FAB production and logistics optimization model using Siemens Plant Simulation, a tool they had practiced extensively during their major coursework. Their modeling approach and simulation performance were highly evaluated, leading them to secure the competition’s top honor.
