As a multi-sport student athlete all through high school I was excited to continue my love of sports and teamwork by playing basketball at Concordia. I learned new things everyday from new players, coaches, and teams to compete against. Basketball brought me many memories, new lessons on life and helped me develop more skills such as time management to help me succeed in the classroom.
Fall 2018 - Spring 2022
SAND helped me continue to meet new people, form new connections, and learn more about the dietetic field through speakers and activities. During my Senior year I was elected President and through this position and the help of my other board members we decided to "revamp" our club creating more fun and interacting activities, and widening our demographic through speakers who could relate to non-nutrition major/minor students.

I felt obtaining a minor in exercise science would help broaden my knowledge and resources for my future career in dietetics. Being in the exercise science club helped me meet other students I don't always have class with, faculty, and broaden my knowledge of the opportunities in the field of exercise science.

I had the opportunity to serve on the first ever MAND student board this year. Through being a part of MAND I not only had access to scholarships and resources, but being on the board gave me the opportunity to form connections with other students and professionals in the field of nutrition.
