This summer, we will have visits from local police, firemen & EMTs, students may go on walking trips to the library to sign up for summer reading programs and engage in planned activities, practice weekly for/perform in a talent show, and so much more!

Our related service providers are also planning an incredible culminating Olympic themed field day! Each class will be assigned a country to represent. They will create flags and work on mini- projects in the weeks leading up to field day. On field day they will compete against other classes in head-to-head friendly competitions displaying good sportsmanship, not only applying learned social skills, but utilizing the gross and fine motor skills fostered and developed during ESY programming.

Seth Boyden Elementary ESY Dismissal

• Students must be picked up promptly at 12:30 each day
• Parents/Guardians picking students up must park along Boyden Avenue or other side streets and walk to pick their child up from the auditorium daily.
• Staff members will be present during dismissal to assure each student departs with the proper transportation and guardian to ensure the safety of all students.
• We will not release a child to anyone other than a parent/guardian without consent, or a release authorization form.
• NO U-turns are allowed at any time during dismissal.
• During Pick-Up times (12:30-12:45), parents MAY NOT use turn-about (this is for BUSES ONLY) and MAY NOT enter/use the parking lots.
• Students may NOT be picked up across the street from the school.
