The SoMe Lab is a recent Danish initiative (April 2017) related to the Red Hen Lab

At the moment SoMe Lab is developing a bot for the automatic harvesting of chat data from the message system Telegram (150 million users). You can download Telegram to your computer, tablet or smartphone.

To start harvesting data all you have to do is to invite the bot "@FlyOnTheWall_Bot" into a group conversation. The bot harvests everything from the chats: text, images, sound files, location information.

To stop harvesting data from a conversation you just kick the bot out.

We are using a temporary database and we still need to add functionalities. But the bot can in fact be used already now. If you have ideas about things that the bot should do or say when entering, during and when leaving a conversation, we’d be happy to hear them!
