These signs are not meant to be 100% MUTCD compliant. They are simply designed to be closer to MUTCD compliance.
- Sometimes I'm fine with a little bit of MUTCD inaccuracy if it means a better looking sign or more cohesive sign system.
- I also do not know everything, so I may get stuff wrong.

This shit takes a long fucking time to make. In fact, while I type this, I am actively procrastinating actually having to redesign more of the signs. (two-months-in-the-future me: still procrastinating, plus this ye olden Latitude E6430 does not like doing things in paint.net)

I am, for the most part, only doing the guide signs (like the green ones you see on the highway). It would take 12 years to redesign EVERY sign, especially because a lot of them literally just need the correct font and maybe more roundness, which can be solved by buying a new one off the shelf.

This sign is small enough and wayside-posted enough to be considered a Community Wayfinding Guide Sign, which means it's subject to much less stringent requirements. I don't think you're technically supposed to say "NEXT LEFT" like that, but it felt better than having either no sign or the next sign twice. I can't be bothered to design an alternative.

This sign is also a Community Wayfinding Guide Sign. I'm fairly sure this is about as complaint as it gets, bar maybe the Walt Disney signature. It's mostly rectangular, and the mouse ears could be considered an "identification marker". The blurple is legally distinct from toll sign purple, which I was going to use at first. Correct arrow, good enough contrast ratio, fairly good fonts, reused overall design straight out of the manual. Also no alternate, 'cause this is as good as it's gonna get.
