Ilonggo forms the largest group in the Barangay with a 64.3%, followed by Visayan residents, contributing to 21.4% of the population. Beyond these prominent groups, Barangay Lindang also acknowledges several indigenous communities such Subanen with 5.9%, and Aeta and Tausug which are represented by a single respondent each. Moreover, 2.4% belong to the Ilocano ethnic group, 1.8% are Zamboangueños, and 1.3% are Sambals. Out of the respondents, 98 are of mixed ethnicities, while 27 (2.8%) identify with other ethnic backgrounds.

54 individuals in Barangay Lindang have been clinically diagnosed with hypertension. However, a house-to-house survey revealed that 62 individuals (34.1%) reported having hypertension, while the remaining 116 individuals (63.7%) claimed to be free of hypertension. However, 36% of those who claimed free from hypertension had blood pressure readings exceeding normal levels when measured.

A vast majority (87.9%) of the residents in Barangay Lindang reported having no history of Type II Diabetes, but 7.9% confirmed a diagnosis and 4.2% were unsure, suggesting a need for further education or screenings.

A significant portion (81%) of the population in Barangay Lindang reported engaging in alcohol use.

12% of the population in Barangay Lindang identifies as smokers, with a concerning 45.5% of them engaging in heavy smoking, consuming 10 or more cigarettes daily.
