Ilonggo forms the largest group in the Barangay with a 64.3%, followed by Visayan residents, contributing to 21.4% of the population. Beyond these prominent groups, Barangay Lindang also acknowledges several indigenous communities such Subanen with 5.9%, and Aeta and Tausug which are represented by a single respondent each. Moreover, 2.4% belong to the Ilocano ethnic group, 1.8% are Zamboangueños, and 1.3% are Sambals. Government jobs and manual labor with 16.3% and 13.5% respectively, followed closely providing income for 41 (16.3%) and 34 (13.5%) households respectively. Family support plays a significant role, with 30 households (12%) relying on it as their main income source.
