Let's carry out this task in groups:
“Imagine you are a social media influencer who wants to raise awareness about the negative effects of social media. You’ll create a fake Instagram account to post educational content about TWO key issues: addictive app design, and fake news.”
This task is to be done in groups and the idea is to use a fake Instagram generator (e.g., tools like “Zeoob Fake Instagram Generator”) to create a realistic Instagram profile. Each group must create 2 posts (images and captions) related to the topics of the lessons we will tackle:
Post 1: Highlight how apps keep users addicted.
Post 2: Warn about the dangers of fake information.
Spend 50 minutes working on your task. When you’re done, paste the link to your Instagram account in this chart so other groups can give feedback later in the webquest evaluation section.
