Conclusion
Before this class, I had no knowledge of CAT or MT tools. Thanks to all the information the professor provided and all the practice with many of the assignments completed by the end of the quarter, although I am not a professional now, I do have a basic knowledge of what it is like to use or apply computer-assisted tools on translation.
Even though these tools are definitely a time saver, personally, I would not use them often because I consider translation to be an art, and it should not be done by artificial intelligence, unless it is used to help or fix certain issues in a translation. However, I did find interesting this class and most of the projects were a new way to acquire the important information we needed as beginner translators.
