ผู้จัดเทศกาลแสงไฟ Awakening Bangkok ร่วมกับ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.), สํานักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TCEB, กรุงเทพมหานคร และ Schweppes ตลอดจนพันธมิตร ภาครัฐและเอกชน ร่วมเนรมิตเทศกาลแสงไฟประจำปีกรุงเทพฯ Awakening Bangkok 2023 ภายใต้คอนเซ็ปต์ “Time Passage” ระหว่างวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน – 3 ธันวาคม 2566
จุดแสดงไฟในปีนี้ ล้วนเป็นสถานที่ที่เต็มไปด้วยประวัติศาสตร์ มีความสำคัญ และมีเรื่องราวน่าสนใจในเขตเมืองเก่าของกรุงเทพฯ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ปากคลองตลาด ยอดพิมานริเวอร์วอล์ค อุทยานสราญรมย์ ย่านถนนเฟื่องนคร ย่านแพร่งภูธร และลานคนเมือง ด้วยประติมากรรมไฟและศิลปะดิจิทัลของเทศกาล Awakening Bangkok เปิดมุมมองใหม่ของท่องเที่ยวสำคัญของกรุงเทพฯ ให้เป็นที่รู้จักมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งนอกจากจะกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจชุมชนตลอดย่านที่มีการจัดแสดงแล้ว ยังสามารถดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยว จากทั่วโลกให้เข้ามาเยี่ยมชมเทศกาลไฟ Awakening Bangkok ซึ่งจะช่วยปลุกเศรษฐกิจของประเทศได้อีกทางหนึ่งด้วย
นายพงศ์สิริ เหตระกูล Festival Director งานเทศกาล Awakening กล่าวว่า “เทศกาลไฟประจำปีของกรุงเทพฯ Awakening Bangkok เดินหน้าจัดงานเป็นปีที่ 6 โดยเป็นครั้งแรกที่ย้ายพื้นที่การจัดงาน หลักจากย่านเจริญกรุง สู่ย่านพระนคร-ปากคลองตลาด มุ่งปลุกและเปิดมุมมองของถนนและอาคารประวัติศาสตร์ ในย่านเมืองเก่าด้วย ประติมากรรมไฟและศิลปะดิจิทัล สะท้อนความสำคัญของถนนในย่านเมืองเก่า เช่น สนามไชย-บำรุงเมือง-เฟื่องนคร ที่ทำหน้าที่ลำเลียง วิถีชีวิตตั้งแต่อดีต ข้ามเวลามาจนถึงปัจจุบัน

Marvel at the 2023 Awakening Bangkok Fire and Digital Arts Festival
The organizers of the Awakening Bangkok Lighting Festival in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB, Bangkok and Schweppes, as well as public and private partners, jointly created the annual lighting festival in Bangkok, Awakening Bangkok 2023 under the concept of “Time Passage” from November 24 – December 3, 2023.
This year's fire show is all about history, significance and interesting stories in the old city of Bangkok, including the mouth of the canal, Yodpiman Market, River Walk, Saranrom Park, Phueng Nakhon Road, Prang Phuthon District, and the city courtyard. With the fire sculpture and digital art of the Awakening Bangkok Festival, a new view of Bangkok's major tourist attractions will be known, which will not only stimulate the community economy throughout the show, but will also attract tourists from all over the world to visit the Awakening Bangkok Fire Festival, which will help to awaken the country's economy in another way.
Mr. Pong Sirihetrakul, Awakening Festival Director, said: “The annual fire festival of Bangkok, Awakening Bangkok, is moving forward for the sixth year, with the first time moving the main event area from Charoen Krung to Phra Nakhon - Pak Khlong area. The market aims to awaken and open up the view of the streets and historical buildings in the old city with light sculptures and digital art, reflecting the importance of the streets in the old city, such as Sanam Chai - Bamrung Muang - Phueng Nakhon, which serves to transport the way of life from the past through time to the present.”

Maravíllate con el Festival de Bomberos y Artes Digitales del Despertar de Bangkok
Los organizadores del Awakening Bangkok Lighting Festival en colaboración con la Autoridad de Turismo de Tailandia (TAT), la Oficina de Convenciones y Exposiciones de Tailandia (Organización Pública) o TCEB, Bangkok y Schweppes, así como socios públicos y privados, crearon conjuntamente el festival anual de iluminación en Bangkok, Awakening Bangkok 2023 bajo el concepto de "Time Passage" del 24 de noviembre al 3 de diciembre de 2023.
El espectáculo de fuego de este año tiene que ver con la historia, la importancia y las historias interesantes de la ciudad vieja de Bangkok, incluida la desembocadura del canal, el mercado de Yodpiman, River Walk, Saranrom Park, Phueng Nakhon Road, el distrito de Prang Phuthon y el patio de la ciudad. Con la escultura de fuego y el arte digital del Festival del Despertar de Bangkok, se dará a conocer una nueva visión de las principales atracciones turísticas de Bangkok, que no solo estimulará la economía comunitaria durante todo el espectáculo, sino que también atraerá a turistas de todo el mundo para visitar el Festival del Fuego del Despertar de Bangkok, que ayudará a despertar la economía del país de otra manera.

COMMENTS: This was a very interesting project to make. For this translation I used Smartcat, and I must state the translations were well done. There were some mistakes in some words used not in the proper way. Additionally, I noticed borrowing was applied, but by the end of the three paragraphs, the borrowing became literal and transposition translation.
Nevertheless, this was very fun to do, although I do not know Thai both translations were understandable, and besides their grammar errors or else, it was well done for my limited knowledge of source language.
