This content will describe schedule and cost of project in details.

1. Schedule:-

The initial start date of project was schedule on 8^th-13^th January, but initially we had team of four which was later divided into two teams. As the project started bit late, though we paced up and came on track. Planning phase contains scope statement, Gantt chart, budget and risk assessments has to be completed before 30^th January, but we managed to complete it by 31^st January. As figure F shows second phase was about ordering and purchasing materials. Before executing second phase it was expected that delivery of material can vary, so meanwhile preparation of schematics and brainstorming circuit was started. Based on EVA chart SPI values was slightly under 1, because as a team of only two it was not easy to cope up progress.

Subsequently, phase 3 was the longest section as it was expected to start from paper to working model in next 30 days. Testing all purchased components, implementing on breadboard to work and programming arduino was included in assembly. As EVA chart depicts SPI has minimal variance in March, as it stayed 0.9 until April. There is a significant drop of SPI by the end of March, because some task were not able to complete due to pandemic covid-19. Overall it was managed to complete the task under time constraint to achieve the final goal.

2. Cost:-

According to below figures, it states that overall budget calculated for the project is $1970. The calculated earned value was $1580 whereas actual cost was $1649, therefore the variance which was obtained was only $69 because there were many task which took more time than expected. Gantt chart, scope statement and programming arduino were time consuming tasks, hence the calculated CPI and SPI were 0.96 and 0.80 respectively. The total labour cost estimated was $ 1952 and the material cost was planned to be $396 so there was not any complexity in budget.

To conclude the cost calculations, the variance which was obtained was only of $69 which is considered usual. Due to slight over budget we got value of CPI to be 0.96, on other hand the SPI value was 0.80 because failing to cope up to the scheduled time because of pandemic covid-19.
