Research Seminars

The research seminars at FSU provided invaluable insights into the world of academic research. Students from various research groups shared their experiences, offering practical advice on how to approach professors and secure research opportunities. They emphasized the importance of initiating contact early, balancing research commitments with academic and personal life, and the benefits of proactive engagement. Additionally, faculty members presented their ongoing research, providing a glimpse into the diverse fields of study at FSU. Inspired by these seminars, I reached out to Dr. Nagda and successfully secured a position as a lab group member in his research team. This opportunity has allowed me to gain hands-on experience and deepen my understanding of the research process.
