What is the Canvas Commons?
The Commons is a repository of resources, designed to simplify course content management, allowing instructors to easily store and retrieve their resources, as well as share them with colleagues and the Canvas community.

No matter if you are using Canvas Free for Teachers or a University account*, you can access the Commons from your Global Navigation menu.
Log in to Canvas
From the Global Navigation bar, click the Commons icon
If this is your first time, you may need to authorize the app but you will only need to do this once.
Import Content in your Course
Import Content in your Course
This is the easy part. Once you have access all you have to do is search for the product you want to import into your course.
Once you click on that resource, you will see the option to Import into Canvas. You can then check the box beside All or choose the specific courses you would like to import the content into. There is also an option to download the content.
Once the import is complete the content will show up within your course.
