Your Task

Create an Art Piece

Now that you have gone through many different social justice issues, choose one theme that is of particular interest to you and represent it through art! This will serve as a way for you to show what you've learned throughout this unit.

There are two components to this project: an art piece and a written explanation of your project:

Your art piece can be anything from a physical painting, drawing or sculpture to a digital poster or video. It should be clear in your project what topic or theme you are representing and how it relates to social justice.

Your written piece should just be a short explanation of what you've done, any important information you have learned and why it is a social justice issue.

OPTION: You could choose a social justice issue that has not been covered. For example, think about the current global pandemic, Covid-19. Does this pandemic disproportionately impact certain groups of people?
