Before you begin, challenge yourself by trying to make a list of as many gender associations as you can. How many items, roles, jobs, toys, colours, etc. in society can you think of that are associated with a particular gender? After you make your list, consider if any of them must be associated with that gender. Are gender and gender associations social constructs, meaning were created by society?
