Using a feminist, sociological analysis, this course invites you to critically examine health issues that concern women and female-identified folx throughout their life course. We will explore the impact of physiology, psychology, culture, society, and politics upon women's well-being.

You will also need Fight Like a Girl: How to be a fearless feminist, 2 edition (2019). (It is important to read the second edition as there are important updates to the newer edition). There are print and eBook options available.
The bookstore should have copies of these books but feel free to check out online retailers for the best price.

This course is an online course using “Canvas.” Students must have access to a computer, the Internet, and have basic computer familiarity. Course information can be accessed from a computer in the Library Resource Center on campus or from home or remote location if the student has access to the Internet via a private Internet Service Provider. Your syllabus, writing assignments, and other course materials will be posted on Canvas. In addition to Canvas, we may also utilize various social networking and course management systems online.
