The High Noon Razor is The Western Shave Company's first offering. It has typical double-edged blades and is a double-edged razor. The only plastic parts of the device are the top cap, guard, and grip; all of the other parts are made of metal. The razor itself has a really beautiful chrome finish that reminds me of the Rockwell 6C. According to Mike, one of the company's founders, the razor is made of cast metal with a chrome-plated zinc base. It is on the larger side, being around 4 1/4 inches (CM) long, 4.1 ounces (116 grammes) in weight, and featuring a closed comb blade guard.The handle's well-done knurling makes it simple to hold onto. There are 10 Persona Blue (Made in the USA) blades included. It comes with ten Persona Blue (Made in USA) blades in a simple cardboard box. Until recently, I had somehow overlooked The Western Razor Company. I just researched North American razor manufacturers for an article I published, and I came upon this business.

My attention was sparked by their tale, and I was curious to find out more about the business and what they stood for. It's exciting to see a new player on the market that is entirely developed and produced in the USA. The decision to test it out is easy given the $60 USD price tag. I decided to purchase the High Noon Razor even though there was only one model available at the time of writing. Two men, Mike and Dave, who were dissatisfied with the way the shaving market was developing, created the Western Razor Company. The High-Noon Razor was inspired by the gimmicks, subscriptions, throwaway waste, and scarcity of Made in the USA razors that formerly dominated the market.
They sought to design an "everyman" item that would appeal to both novice and seasoned wet shavers equally, function well, look well, and be produced in the United States. Western Razor was first conceived in 2013, but it wasn't until 2019 that it was really realised. The pair learned a lot about working with manufacturers, engineers, and designers to create a razor that met their criteria during that period. The firm presently only sells one razor, the High Noon, but there are hopes to make additional American-made goods in the future. After some trial and error and roughly eight actual prototypes (and many more on paper), the company currently only provides this one razor. I recently purchased a High Noon and gave it a couple weeks of use.

If you anticipate any sort of decent service, stay away.
I was only trying to find a shaving brush that would fit my holder when I first contacted WCS. I even sent a photo with the precise measurements they required. Zero reaction. The razor I later got from them was so mild that it would take me a week to achieve a good shave. I inquired as to what may be done (a refund, a more aggressive head, etc.). I was informed that used items are not eligible for refunds. Fine. What about the other choices, though? dead air once more. The West Coast is not where West Coast Shaving is located. They are at North Carolina's Myrtle Beach. Owner Christine Koontz claims that customer happiness is extremely important, yet she certainly doesn't demonstrate this by blatantly neglecting clients. WCS is awful.
Abominably poor customer service
exceptionally poor client service. After almost a month, I received a mistaken purchase that I had ordered from Amazon. The agent claimed that I received the right order when I submitted a return request, which was a plain falsehood. Now that I'm attempting to contact them, no one is answering the phone, and after two days, the representative hasn't responded to my email. One of the most appalling displays of customer service I've ever seen
Excellent shop to visit if you want a close shave
I've been shaving for more than 20 years, but I just switched to a safety razor. I've also used the tools—bow, brush, etc.—for wet shaving in the past. I needed to improve, and West Coast provides everything you need, from a novice to a seasoned pro, at unbeatable costs.
