A. 이번 행사는 서울대 후문 바깥쪽에 위치하고 있는 호암교수회관 (125동) 로즈홀에서 진행합니다. 낙성대역 4번 출구에서 관악02-1 또는 02-2번 마을버스를 타고 올라오시다가 호암교수회관 역에서 하차하셔서 5분 정도 걸어 들어오시면 됩니다. 서울대 캠퍼스 내부에 있는 "교수회관"과는 다른 장소이니 착오 없으시기 바랍니다.
The workshop will be hosted at the Rose Hall in the Hoam Faculty House (Bldg 125), located outside of the SNU rear gate. You may take a green town bus called Gwanak 02-1 or 02-2 (관악02-1/02-2 마을버스) and get off at the Hoam Faculty House station. Please ensure that this is different from another place called "Faculty House" (Bldg 65), which is located on campus.

Not necessarily. This workshop is open to all students regardless of their current major. Relevant academic or industrial experience in computing or data science will be recognized in the selection process.
A. 네, 4년제 대학 학부과정에 재학 중이고 행사 당일 대면 참석이 가능하신 분은 누구나 신청할 수 있습니다.
Yes, as long as you are an undergraduate student at a university and you can attend the workshop in-person, you can still apply and participate in even if you did not register for this semester.
A. 행사는 한국어로 진행됩니다. 외국 국적자도 지원 가능하나, 한국어 의사소통이 가능해야 합니다.
This workshop will be in Korean. We recruit students regardless of their nationality, but you should be able to communicate in Korean language.
A. 행사 당일 갑작스럽게 발생하는 긴급 상황을 제외하고는 선정된 모든 학생들은 대면 참석하기를 기대합니다. 아직 당일 스케줄이 불확실한 경우, 이번에는 참석 가능한 다른 학생들을 위해 양보해 주시고, 다음 학기에 신청하시기를 권유 드립니다.
Unless it is a sudden emergency, selected students should be able to attend the in-person workshop. If you are unsure about your schedule on the workshop dates, please consider applying next semester, leaving the limited spot to other students.
A. 네, 일단은 별개의 선발 프로세스를 가진 별도의 프로그램이지만, 인턴십에 관심이 있고 지원하려는 학생들은 이 행사에도 참여하는 것을 권장합니다. 인턴십은 1개의 연구실에서 집중적으로 연구에 참여하게 되므로, 이 행사를 통해 다양한 연구실을 탐색해 볼 수 있는 기회로 활용하시면 좋습니다. 2개의 프로그램에 모두 참여하고자 하시면 반드시 양쪽 프로그램에 모두 지원서를 제출해 주셔야 합니다.
Yes, we encourage you to apply for this program to explore various research areas and to attend inspiring career talks and more. You still need to officially apply for both programs; applying to one program does not automatically transfer to the other program.
A. 네, 학부과정생이라면 다시 지원하실 수 있습니다. 다만 선발 과정에서 최근에 참여했던 학생들보다는 처음 참여하거나, 참여한지 오래된 학생들에게 우선권을 부여할 수 있습니다.
Yes, you may reapply if you are interested in reattending. We may prioritize new students in the selection process though.
A. 이번 시즌에는 연구실 활동이 필수가 아닙니다. 본인의 선택에 따라 당일 워크샵에만 참석하고 이후 멘토링에는 참여하지 않아도 무방합니다. 아직 확실하지 않더라도 지원서에 본인의 희망을 최대한 정확하게 기재해 주시기 바랍니다. 워크샵 행사 후 실제 연구실 배정을 위한 신청서를 받을 예정이므로, 그 시점까지는 최초 신청서에 작성했던 내용에서 마음을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
No. Unlike last year, lab activity is not mandatory this time. You may just attend the workshop and not move forward to the mentoring. Please indicate your preference in the application form. If you are unsure, please mark it based on your best guess. You will have one more chance to declare your interest after the workshop, and it is okay to change your mind at that point, either way.
