SNU Data Science Career Workshop is a series of two in-person workshops spanning through the Winter of 2023-24, led by two professors at SNU GSDS, who are current and previous Google engineers. This is a part of Google-sponsored ExploreCSR workshop series, hosted at select universities around the world since 2018. There will be tons of interesting and valuable information that you can hear from invited speakers and mentors as well as other participants.

Although the students' interest in computer and data science gets more and more popular, many study and career opportunities in these fields are not well known for undergraduate students. This workshop is designed to motivate and inspire undergraduate students studying (or planning to study) computer science (CS), data science (DS), and artificial intelligence (AI) at Seoul National University (SNU) and other partnered universities in Seoul.

The workshop will inform the participating students what career opportunities they can explore as a researcher or engineer in this field and what specific areas of research look like. Also, it will connect students with similar interests to each other. The goal of this workshop is to let those students know there are various promising career opportunities not just for CS-majors but also for all others.
