Madam Veronica Komathi
2005 - PRESENT
Pn. Komathi has served as the heart of the Catholic Society of St. Michael’s Institution for over 20 years, faithfully guiding generations of Michaelians in their journey of faith. Her unwavering commitment, nurturing spirit, and compassionate leadership transformed the Society into a space of growth, service, and evangelisation. She consistently encouraged students to live out the Gospel, reach out to the needy, and spread God’s love through action. With her gentle strength, wise advice, and steadfast support, Pn. Komathi became a true beacon of faith, hope, and love—a light that continues to shine in the hearts of every Michaelian she has touched.
For over two decades, Puan Komathi has served as the heart and soul of the Catholic Society in St. Michael’s Institution. Her role as a teacher advisor has gone far beyond responsibilities on paper — she has been a beacon of faith, compassion, and unwavering support for generations of Michaelians. With quiet strength and constant encouragement, she has guided students to grow spiritually and to embrace the mission of the Catholic Society: to spread the Good News of God and to live out the values of love, service, and charity.
Under her watchful guidance, the Society has flourished into a vibrant and caring community. Puan Komathi never failed to ensure that every programme and activity was meaningful, purposeful, and rooted in faith. Whether it was preparing for liturgical events, planning charitable initiatives, or offering counsel to those in need, she was always present — often working silently in the background, but with great impact. Her dedication to helping others, especially students who were struggling, reflects her deep sense of mission and maternal care.
What makes Puan Komathi truly special is not only her commitment to the Society, but the way she has lived out her faith by example. She has inspired countless students to step forward with courage, to serve with humility, and to evangelise through action. Her legacy is not only seen in events held or programmes run, but in the lives she has touched — students who have become stronger in faith, more compassionate in heart, and more committed to helping others.
As she continues her journey, her lasting influence remains etched in the heart of every Catholic Society member she has guided. The Society thanks her deeply for her faithful service, her endless love, and for being a true light of Christ in our school.
